Class 2 - JHS 2
For children in Class 2 to JHS2, we are partnering with eBook providers to provide your child with access to over 40,000 eBooks and other resources. More than that, your child gets to participate in daily exciting activities, based on themes relevant to subjects treated under the GES curriculum and so much more. Amidst all the fun, your child would be learning so much! If your child is in Class 1 and is already reading you can also sign them up for this program.
Quizzes
Perbi Cubs Library Services is all about improving your child’s reading significantly and thereby improving their performance in school and beyond! In addition to encouraging the children to read more, we ensure that their comprehension levels also improve. Many of the books we assign to the children have quizzes designed by Scholastic. These quizzes test your child’s understanding of the book, and also show us if your child read the book or just flipped through it. We are so proud of each child that passes a quiz, so we award them points. As they accumulate their points, they get closer to attaining the Diamond Medallion.
Rewards
Our aim is to create a community of readers who through affirmation, incentives and fun activities become lovers of books and avid readers. Currently, we are running the Medallion Program where our cubs are awarded medals for completing activities, the number of minutes read, and the number of quizzes passed. Cubs can earn from the Bronze Medallion to the Diamond Medallion in any of these three tracks. Cubs who actively participate in all three tracks – activities completed, minutes read, and quizzes passed – can attain Triple Diamond Medallion. We celebrate our Cubs every week during our Zoom Hangout.
